York finance specialists purchased in deal worth 2.9m

AFH, the AIM-listed Bromsgrove-based financial services group, is acquiring York-based Corville Financial Services for 1.5 million.

A further 1.4 million might be due on the next 8 weeks depending on specific targets being met.

The deal will dsicover Debbie and Nick Burchall, the administrators of Corville Financial Services, join AFH as advisers.

AFH’s Us president, Alan Hudson, said the offer will boost its consolidator’s presence in Yorkshire.

“This latest acquisition, our eighth in the financial year, continuously consolidate our national distribution in the core AFH clients,” he explained.

He added: “I am content to welcome Debbie and Nick coupled with their team to AFH and appearance forward to handling these people to consolidate our presence in North Yorkshire and continue our growth for that benefit to our new clients and then to increase shareholder value.”
