Grants4Growth, a larger Lincolnshire funding programme managed by South Holland District Council contained in the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub offer, has approved their 100th grant offer to Greater Lincolnshire businesses. The grant funding, an important part of a 1.3million funding pot, can be obtained to businesses thinking about purchasing capital assets for you to expand and develop.
Councillor Nick Worth, Chair on the Grants4Growth Strategic Board at South Holland District Council said “Seeing the growth potential of countless local companies boosted by grant funding from the programme is incredibly rewarding.
“We’re keen to support plenty of businesses across Greater Lincolnshire as is feasible and offering the grant funding towards their plans, i am making an effort to improve the local economy. This actually also is an chance of businesses to place growth plans in motion, which can not have been possible without funding support.”
So far the funding programme has committed over 760,000, and grant recipients are already able to purchase machinery like wave soldering machines, litho printers, cleaning facilities and CNC machinery, amongst a good many others, to raise production, diversify their service range, develop innovative prototypes and formulate new occupations to flourish their workforce.
Graham McKay, Director of Broken Fashion, a manufacturer of bespoke injury aids based in Grantham, received a grant towards an embroidery and dye sublimation machine to improve the grade of his products and increase product output. He explained “The application was very straight forward and stress free C it couldn’t are easier!”
Horncastle based Shelton Sportsturf Drainage Ltd, who manufacture field drainage equipment, also recently received grant funding towards the construction of the prototype machine, having previously been approached by agricultural businesses to produce an eco-friendly means to fix land excavation.
Owners Michael Claxton and Richard Clark were delighted using the grant funding they received: “We are delighted with the help Grants4Growth have given us. Now we are able to expand our production and still provide something unique to your customers, whilst also increasing our annual turnover by almost still another.”
The grant funding can be purchased to any eligible business headquartered in Greater Lincolnshire, who will demonstrate their business case for growth. Grants consist of 1,000 to 25,000, that may contribute approximately 28% towards eligible costs for choosing capital assets.
