Wakefield firm SNF plans new operation on Teesside Magazine

Wakefield-headquartered chemicals specialist SNF has completed the earliest phase of commissioning at its new manufacturing unit in Billingham, near Stockton.

The news follows a seven-year project and 100m investment to redevelop the 60-acre brownfield site.

The first of three lines mainly production building is actually operational, producing material to the water and wastewater industry.

“Billingham represents a big expansion to SNF’s production capabilities in Europe and marks the key strategic decision to help with our growth plans,” elaborated SNF’s operations director Andy Helliwell.
