Derby County to be sold to No Limits Sports

Derby County Football Club has revealed that an agreement to purchase the club continues to be reached with No Limits Sports Limited.

Subject to EFL approval, the transaction is anticipated to close “in the near future.”

The news uses a deal fell apart to market the club to Derventio Holdings (UK) Limited, whose ultimate controlling entity is Bin Zayed International LLC, owned by Sheikh Khaled Zayed Bin Saquer Zayed Al Nayhan.

A statement from Derby County Soccer club says: “Derby County Football Club desires to confirm that a definitive agreement to buy the club has been reached with No Limits Sports Limited.

“The transaction, that is still subject to the EFL’s Owners and Directors Test approval, is expected to close in the near future.

“As agreed without any Limits Sports there will be no further comment until the transaction is complete. This is to ensure that all of the club’s focus is going to be on the Championship run in.”
