Water products maker excels with LEP cash Magazine

Excel Water, the Leeds-based manufacturer and supplier of water products, has invested 220,000 within a relocation plans from a move supported by a 25,000 grant using the Leeds City Region LEP’s Growth Service.

Excel Water, which manufacturers, installs and services purification and purification systems for various sectors, has gone after new premises in Allerton Bywater.

Managing Director Emma Armitage and brother Darren Field took over running the family-owned business 2 yrs ago.

Supported from the LEP Growth Service, turnover has now reached over 1.2million plus the move is required to begin up opportunities for further investment and growth.

Grant support for relocation from Ledston Luck Enterprise Park for the new 1,250 sq ft premises at Kiln Park in Allerton Bywater means yourrrre able to send offices, manufacturing and storage to generally be brought together within a single roof. The latest testing and research facility has been specifically created.

The LEP Growth Service is delivered in Leeds in partnership with Leeds City Council and Leeds Beckett University. The service aims to link SME businesses for the number of support available from the LEP as well as other organisations, including grants that will help commit to growth, create new jobs and prosperity for the region.

“The shift to the newest premises has allowed us to get all of our business under one roof and accelerate our plans for growth,” said Ms Armitage.

“The support we’ve had from the Council as well as the LEP has become fantastic and possesses really supported the development individuals business.”

Following the move, Excel Water’s team is scheduled to flourish with five new jobs in the pipeline.
