North Midland Construction subsidiary Nomenca has started work with a £22m increase of Se Water’s Bray Keleher Water Treatment Works in Berkshire that can understand the treatment works increase by in regards to third in proportions and output.
With the Bray Keleher site currently effective at abstracting about 45m litres of water from the River Thames and making it into fresh h2o on a daily basis, the increase sees output increased to 68m litres water every day.
Brian Steventon, Project Manager at Se Water, said: “Now you have an important project that ensures tens of thousands of homes in the region continue to have the best quality, clean drinking water. We involved the area community through the very start to be able to minimise any disruption, and promoted honest, two-way communication throughout; including drop-in sessions where people could come and have questions.”
Tony Stanbridge, Operations Manager at Nomenca, said: “The Bray Keleher project is often a flagship scheme within Se Water’s current AMP investment programme and we’re proud to generally be playing a respected role.
“The project may be meticulously planned as well as the collaborative solution to working is paying dividends, with work towards site progressing well and also the project is to normal to finish in Spring 2020.”
