Nottinghamshire visitor economy to be celebrated at much talked about event

The recent positive news about increase in the Nottinghamshire visitor economy, now worth over 1.8 billion for the local economy and supporting over 22,000 jobs, has brought about the re-establishment on the Hospitality STARS Awards.

Tourism and hospitality firms are being inspired to submit their applications in front of the 24th September deadline, as a way to profile their business for the regional and national stage.

The region boasts many great businesses, from Center Parcs and Castle Rock to Clumber Park and Creswell Crags.

The awards will be organised by Visit Nottinghamshire, town and county’s official tourism body, and they are made in affiliation while using Nottingham Hospitality Association as well as the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence programme.

Richard Johal, Chair of the Nottingham Hospitality Association, said: “The NHA are delighted to be supporting the celebs awards. The case is a great opportunity to celebrate Nottinghamshire’s diverse hospitality sector, the hard-working people inside industry also to celebrate and recognise local company marketing success.
